Great service: during this Covid time, you can unfortunately only pick up the food, but the management have adapted very well and, kindly, gave the plates and cutlery to the car. Delicious food 👍👍

Nice contact, good food. Due to the lockdown, only pick-up possible. Quick preparation and good packaging of the dishes. We say thank you and we'd love to do it again !!

Very good food. We had Hackstrudel once and schnitzel once. Both tasted great. The waitresses are all incredibly quick. There are almost no waiting times. We went on Friday in October and it was very busy. We had to make reservations.

Food was good. Prices a little higher. Extensive menu, if you like it. I took out my extended text because the owners wore it out. It's just a shame that my 4-star rating was not seen, which is a positive rating. Here I wish that this is also seen. The invitation to the restaurant and especially the kitchen is an honor; but is certainly not beneficial due to hygiene regulations and corona requirements

Large portions, also quite a large vegetarian selection. The food came very very quickly and the service was good. Attention, only cash payment!

The starter, main course and dessert were all very good. Despite the onset of rain, we sat very comfortably and dry. The service was very friendly, the prices okay. When we're around again, we'll come back in.

Today we ordered and picked up Allgäu cheese spaetzle with salad. It was super delicious and the salad was presented so well. Thank you so much for this great meal. We will be back definitely!

Unfriendly staff ..., a back steak, what you could have done better, in terms of taste and price. Steak was served with a well-intentioned addition, a wriggling fly in cream sauce. Not recommendable!

Still one of our favorite restaurants in the Allgäu and has been for six years now! Super delicious food, courteous and friendly service, even when it is hectic. Conclusion: You have to visit the "carpenter's parlors"!

Very good food and nice people

We were there after a hike. After we sat we were served or besieged. A little more time would have been nice. The food came 5 minutes after ordering - too fast for our taste. Questionable to what extent it was freshly cooked. The food was quite good, but nothing special. Overall it's nice, but wouldn't go there again.

Great restaurant, great tasty starter salad. Your own main course is just great. The dishes carried over looked great. Toilets very clean. Absolutely friendly and unobtrusive service. We will be back.

Wow! Just unbelievably delicious! We were so excited the first time that we are back two days later. The wait staff were very friendly and the food was really fast on the table. The plate with the Swabian delicacies is particularly recommendable. The dining room is comfortably furnished with attention to detail. We will gladly come back at the next Allgäu visit.

We come on holiday to Algau at least once every year and this restaurant is number one on our list no matter if it is winter or summer. The interior is quite superb with wonderful wood carvings ... Even on the ceiling ! Outdoors there are many places to sit and take in the sunshine whilst sipping a cool local Allgauer beer. The food is what brings us back time and time again. Amazing steaks and outstanding local dishes that are so tasty and made fresh every day. My sweet tooth has plenty of choice including large portions of traditional Apple Strudel. Black forest gateau being my favorite always takes preference! The staff who are very friendly and so helpful are in traditional dress which makes the whole Algau dining experience so worthwhile.

Delicious local dishes. Service very nice. Prices at first glance seem prohibitive, but you get a very large portion of dishes and salads.

Great food, friendly service, large portions. Had stuffed roast suckling pig. The meat was tender and juicy and the filling was absolutely delicious. The side dishes (red cabbage, potato dumplings) were also absolutely delicious. Well seasoned and not over-salted. Lovely again. Even a year later, everything is still great. The grilled rump steak is a poem.

The food here is amazing, well priced and the staff are very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend the Käsespätzle.
